Bookings Terms & Conditions

1. Bookings & Payments

All bookings & pricings are subject to availability and confirmation from Austin Tours & Travels.
Austin Tours & Travels require at least a 50% deposit to secure your booking.
Final quoted payment must be made in full prior to the tour or service date, unless otherwise agreed in writing

2. Cancellations & itinerary changes

Any cancellations or changes must be made in writing (via email or Whatsapp).
Cancellation fees may apply depending on notice period, third-party costs already incurred
Cancellation or rescheduling within 48 hours or less will incur either 1) 50% of the quoted price for multi-day tour (equivalent to the deposit), or the first full day of the quote, whichever one is greater, or 2) The full day of the tour for single day tours
Itinerary changes requested are subject to availability and may incur additional charges including overtime & after hours charges
All cancellation fees and refunds are at the discretion of Austin Tours & Travels, including due to force majeure or pandemic restrictions
Customer are entitled to the invoice of the cancellation fee for insurance purposes

3. Tour Inclusions & Exclusions

Private tour will include fuel, tolls and parking.
For trips to the snowy mountain during winter period (June - September), price will include a snow chain hire
Entrance fees and tickets to attractions, booking fees, credit card surcharges and other additional expenses are excluded unless explicitly stated. To guarantee entrance, the purchase of certain fees & tickets are mandatory to be done through Austin Tours & Travels and will be advised in advance (such as the entrance fee to snow mountains)
Entrance fees and tickets not purchased through Austin Tours & Travels are not our responsibility to uphold or enforce
All tickets purchased through Austin Tours & Travels are guaranteed to be purchased through official websites, and we will guarantee entrance unless due to force majeure, or government restrictions

4. Pricing

Pricing are still subject to change until deposit payment is made
Austin Tours and Travel have the right to invoice additional charges incurred during the tour, such as change of schedule, overtime charges, entrance fees, etc

5. Time Management

The tour start time is the confirmed start time, not the time guests enter the vehicle or are ready to depart.
Austin Tours & Travel will assign drivers to get in contact with you, either via mobile phone, email or Whatsapp. The start time must be confirmed at least 12 hours prior to the tour, or by the night before the service date.
The tour will be considered to have started at the confirmed start time, whether or not guests are present or ready at that time.
Any delay caused by guests will be counted as part of the booked duration.
Overtime charges will apply if guest delays cause the service to run beyond the booked time.

6. Guest Responsibilities

Prior to the start of the tour, guests will have to confirm the number of guests, and luggages to be brought to the trip. Any person aged > 0 years old will be counted as 1 person
We expect all guests to comply with local laws and regulations, including the use of seat belt, and car seat. As such, if guests have children under the age 8 travelling together, guests have the responsibility to inform us the accurate representation of the child (height, or age, or both)
Any additional costs incurred when the vehicle is unsuitable due to guests providing an incorrect number of passengers or excess baggage (including vehicle upgrades, or fines incurred) will be charged to the guest. ATT also reserves the right to refuse service and cancel the trip for the day without refunds for the day.
Guests must behave respectfully and maintain reasonable cleanliness within the vehicle. Any excessive soiling, including bodily fluids, food spillage, or similar contamination, may result in a cleaning fee of up to $200.

7. Right to Refuse or Terminate Service

Austin Tours & Travels reserves the right to refuse, modify, or terminate service at any time if requests are deemed unreasonable, unsafe, unlawful, or outside the agreed scope of service.
This includes, but is not limited to, abusive behaviour, excessive demands, unsafe instructions, or requests that breach legal, safety, or operational requirements.
In such cases, there will be no refunds for the fee of the day. If multi-days tour were booked, it is at the discretion of Austin Tours & Travels to determine partial refund, considering costs already incurred.

8. Safety & Force Majeure

Tours may be altered, delayed, or cancelled due to weather, traffic conditions, mechanical issues, or events beyond our control.
Austin Tours & Travels will make reasonable efforts to provide suitable alternatives where possible, and will communicate the alternatives to guests while also minimising additional costs incurred.

9. Liability

Austin Tours & Travels is not responsible for loss, damage, injury, or delay caused by third parties or circumstances beyond our control.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all guests.

10. Photography & Marketing

ATT respects and prioritises the privacy of all guests.
Photography and videography during the service will only take place with guest consent, which may be obtained verbally by our drivers. Where consent is given, ATT may use such photos or videos for marketing and promotional purposes only.
Photos and videos will not be sold, shared, or provided to third parties.
No identifying personal information will be disclosed in any marketing materials.
Guests have the right to decline or withdraw consent for photography or videography at any time during the trip. This information can be confirmed both in writing prior to the start of the trip, or verbally during the trip.
